ARTIST
STATEMENT: My golden years have become silver. I am a microbiologist and business woman who now has time to indulge herself in her love of creating. I first became acquainted with metal clay in 1996 and it has been my passion since then. A new horizon of adventure came with the invention of my veneer solution in 2003. When the advent of the flexible textured sheet and veneer paste, I plunged onto a new and exciting level of exploration. I am a juried member of the Arizona Designer Craftsman, certified instructor for Rio Grande, Member of PMC Guild and Southern Arizona Alchemist. My work has been included in the Studio PMC, Fusion 2001, Shemer Museum, and the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. I conduct workshops in my studio and for various other organizations.
