The PMC Guild is an educational organization founded in 1997 to promote instruction, research, teaching and exhibition of Precious Metal Clay. The Guild maintains a website, sponsors a conference, publishes a magazine, and fosters a community of sharing and support. Membership is open to all.
“Metal Heads, Feat of Clay" is the only active chapter in the Phoenix area. We are a diverse group of silver clay enthusiasts with various backgrounds and interests, with one common goal… We are dedicated to sharing our passion with friends and have fun doing it!
We are currently holding meetings monthly (alternating between the last Friday and the last Saturday of the month). The meetings are held here at Fire and Friends Z Art Studio and they consist of sharing information, as well as, experimenting with different techniques, processes and mediums with Silver Clay. We also expand our horizons, in the way of Challenges, that help to take us “out of the box” when working with PMC.
Dues are $20 per year, payable at the first meeting you attend. Some knowledge of metal clay is helpful, but not required, all levels are welcome. Our goals are to share ideas and expand our knowledge, but most of all to have fun with our friends.
